Lagos From the Water: Our Monthly River Cruise Starts on 31 October

Most of us know Lagos from the road. The traffic, the horns, the schedule we’re always running behind. There’s another side to this city, and you only see it from the water: quieter, slower, and a lot easier on the eyes.

We’re taking you out on it.

Starting Saturday 31 October, Xplora Bliss is running a monthly Lagos River Cruise. Two hours on the waters around Lagos Island, with finger food and drinks, and nothing to organise except what to wear.

The dates

We have three Saturdays lined up so far: 31 October, 21 November and 26 December 2026. Each cruise runs from 4pm to 6pm.

Where to meet

We set off from Lekki Jetty, No 12 Wole Olateju Street, off Admiralty, Lekki Phase 1. Please arrive by 3:30pm. Boarding is at 3:45pm sharp, so don’t be late.

What you get

For ₦30,000 per person, you get the two-hour cruise, plus finger food and drinks. Children are welcome and pay the same price. Getting to and from the jetty is up to you, and anything beyond the cruise itself isn’t included.

Who it’s for

Friends catching up, couples, families, colleagues, people coming on their own. And if you’ve never been on a boat before, this is a gentle way to start. Plenty of people are a little nervous before their first time on the water. Two hours with food and a drink in hand is a very easy way to find out you like it.

How to book

Your place is confirmed once you’ve paid. Message us on WhatsApp on 0817 365 6110 and we’ll send you the account details, then send your payment confirmation back to us on the same number.

Please pay at least three days before the cruise: by Wednesday 28 October for the 31 October cruise, Wednesday 18 November for 21 November, and Wednesday 23 December for 26 December.

A few things worth knowing. Bookings are non-refundable, but you can transfer your place to someone else if you let us know on WhatsApp before the cruise. And if bad weather stops us from sailing, we’ll reschedule rather than refund.
